Refusing to buy any commercial furniture papillon was created in the early days when Rogier Vancamelbecke made himself a stool for his drawing board. Its design was a reaction against the poor quality of most products on the consumer market back then and today.

His statement gave shape to this very individual but durable stool design, it believes to be a small step in the right direction.

The base structure of the Papillon, representing the butterfly wings, is made of steel which makes it the heavier stool in the market. Despite that, the papillon brings lightness to every home. Available in different colours.

The papillon is sold with 100 years of structural warranty and is 100% recyclable although recycling it would be a shame, don't you think?
