BINOCULARIS 355
NEW APPROACH TO LIGHTING FOR LOFTS AND GALLERIES
The binocularis 355 reveals a Science-fiction mind-set of Rogier Vancamelbecke.
It is a design that combines the sculptural individuality of a hanging lamp with the functionality of a wide range adjustable spot light. Whilst the name refers to a set of binoculars be it that the shape is simplified to its essence, 355 degrees is the range of rotation of each lamp.
The inner structure of the lamp is manufactured in steel whilst the housing is made of UV-proof PMMA. The aluminium light ducting mimics the exhaust manifold of a rocket engine.
The binocularis 355 features a soft start driver system that limits the inrush-current.
The light is produced by gas discharge bulbs. By opting for this technology a class A energy efficiency level is achieved. Lamps ranging from 35 to 70 watts can be fitted depending on your requirements.
